Decorations, Supplies, Equipment
|
We have
a wide variety of decorations and supplies
that are available for your use at
events here at the farm, and it is ever
growing as new things are left by
couples every week! Unless a
fee is listed, they are included free.
Not all items may be available at all
times. If you are interested in a
specific item, please let us know.
Damaged, lost or stolen items may
require replacement. If you want
to leave your personal decorations here
after the wedding, we can recycle them
and make them available to others.
We're working on a more complete list and more photos, but here is some
general information.
Candleholders: There
are glass, ceramic, wooden and
metal ones that range in style
from very casual and rustic to
formal silver. We have
holders for tapers as well as
pillars of various sizes.
The hurricane candleholder/vases
can be filled with colorful or
natural stones or other
materials to hold the candle
inside. We also have
canning jars plain and some wrapped with wire
for hanging (small and larger
jars). You will need to place
sand or gravel or other material
in the bottom of the jars to
prevent wax dripping into the
glass (client is responsible for
cleaning anything that has wax
residue after use). There are also
various sizes of terracotta
flower pots which can be trimmed
with raffia and used as
candleholders or can hold a
small glass of water for
flowers.
You are welcome to use our
candleholders, and you will
provide your own candles.
Tealights are workable for many
of our candle holders, and we
have a large number of glass tea
light holders to use on tables.l |

Easels:
We have some table size easels
to use for photos or
announcements and also two large
freestanding easels that can be
used to display your program or
other information. We have
a matted frame that can be used
with the large easels, so a
regular 8.5x11 printed page or
photo can be displayed. Just
bring your photo or document to
display. |

|
|
Lanterns:
We have red 'railroad style' oil
lanterns that can be hung or
sit. We don't use them on
the tables, but they work well
in outside areas. There
are also other lanterns that can
be used with candles throughout
the garden, and some are
suitable for tables. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
|
Vases:
We have simple glass vases as
well as decorative ceramic ones.
For some informal ideas, we have
some wine bottles with goat
designs on the labels that make
a statement ;) They can
hold a collection of fresh or
dried flowers. We also
have a variety of mugs with goat
designs that can be creatively
displayed with flowers or
candles. Think about
having a variety of items with
some common themes. With a
large group, there will be many
tables, so you can mix flowers
and candles nicely. We also have
a variety of mason canning jars
in several sizes. |

Wreaths:
We have 6" and 12" grapevine
wreaths that you can use with a
simple ribbon to for a very
natural design, or you can add
fresh, dried or silk flowers.
They look nice hanging around
the barn or hanging on our 30"
standing metal wreath holders
that can line the "aisle" for
the ceremony. You can also
use the wreath holders to drape
tulle or other fabric.
Object to hang should not be too
heavy, or stand could become
unstable.
Wreaths also make a nice natural
looking table decoration and
small tealight holders or a vase
of flowers can be placed inside.
Wreath
stand can also hold fabric or
other decorations for aisles, or
lanterns in the garden or other
general decorating. It is
approximately 24" tall. |

Trays,
Platters, Bowls, Baskets,
Mirrors:
These can be used for food
service, or for displaying
flowers or other decorative
items. There are a number with
garden/botanical themes, as well
as antique copper and wooden
ones. If using candles,
there needs to be something to
line the bowl/tray to avoid wax
contact. We also have some
6" and 8" mirrors that can be
used with candles or flowers or
other decorations. |

|
Silk
Flowers: There is a
variety of silk flowers that can
be tucked into arrangements or
wreaths for displays. however,
if you want something for a more
formal display, we suggest
purchasing a complete
arrangement that you can then
keep. We also have some silk ivy
and flowers that can be used on
the arbors. |

|
Fabric:
We have a variety of valance
scarf panels including white,
shades of purple,
slate blue, royal blue, shades
of green, gold, silver, yellow,
orange and others that can be
draped in the gazebo, and the
door frame looking out at the
mountains, or other
areas. We have
miscellaneous other fabrics that
might be useful in decorating.
We also have white fabric to use
for ceiling canopy in the barn,
and it is included with the
wedding package. This
doesn't
completely cover the ceiling,
but adds a nice effect

|
You might
also consider decorating the
walls with fabric. To the
right is what one client did.
She used panels of sheer
curtains to make a lovely color
statement! The client (Lori
Spiker ) also was kind
enough to leave all of the
curtain panels here for future
clients to use! She more
pictures from Lori's wedding
here. Also, above on the
right you can see curtains hung
with lights behind. These
were donated by Erin Hinson -see
their pictures.
The Chinese
lanterns in the photo to the
right belong to the
client. These battery
operated type lanterns are
popular. They can also be
hung without lights. We
currently have some 8" cobalt blue
ones; 12" in a variety of shades
of tan and orange; and some 8"
white ones. |
 |
|
Lights:
We have tiny white string lights and
some lantern string lights
(right) that are generally used
along the barn outside.
Sometimes there are enough to
use in other locations where
electricity is available.
We also have solar twinkle
lights throughout the garden,
and LED lights on the ceiling of
the barn.
 |
 |
|
Quilts:
We have a variety of quilts
which we often use on the sofas
and some are suitable for
hanging on the walls as well.
We try to work with your color
theme to provide what works best
for you.
Equipment: We have
ladders available for your use,
as well as other common
household equipment. Please ask
in advance, to check on
availability of specific items.
Farm Implements/Tools:
We have some working tools as
well as "retired" rusted tools
that might be suitable for
country themes. This
includes things such as shovels,
rakes, wheel barrows, old
harness and similar items.
Bales of hay or straw are
available @$2-3.00 bale (depends
upon availability for the
season). |
