Included with
Wedding Package |
This includes use of our existing
tables (including white linens or
other linens we may have),
chairs and sofas, so you won't have
to worry about paying for chair
rentals, which can often be quite
costly by itself. We have a
collection of tables and chairs that
make your guests comfortable!
Since many of these are recycled
(including some from an old diner in
town!)
there isn't strict uniformity, but
the cloths tie the casual but chic
look together nicely. The barn
can easily seat 150-175, and with
extensions into the patio and garden, several
hundred can be accommodated. We've
also recently added a bar counter on
one side, so that adds additional
seating area.

meetings, parties and other gatherings, we can offer
packages and will
discuss this individually with
client, based on needs. |

Table Linens |

Table linens are an important
addition for the tables. We provide
our featured fabric red check table
linens (some may be solid red or
other variations on the theme if
needed to accommodate all tables) or
white linens for all tables . If you are also using
the garden areas, we will include
flower-themed cloths for the tables
in that area at no additional
charge. |

For the fall (or any time of the
year), we have a wonderful
collection of gold and other earth
tone cloths.
If you need a different color for
your event, we will work with you to
meet your needs at the most
reasonable price possible.
With the large number of tables
available,
this will vary depending on the
number needed. Or, we suggest you
consider adding color with your
table decorations. A round
place mat in your color choice makes
a great way to add color. Just
top with your candles or flowers and
it will look great! |

Caterer use of Prep
Kitchen - per day |
Included with
Wedding Package $200 for other use. |

This includes use of
refrigerators, freezer, stove,
utensils, serving dishes and appliances, and prep
areas. If using any outside
caterers/food preparers, you will need to plan on
kitchen use for the caterers. One
day is included with Wedding
Package. |

Catered Meals |
|
For now, we are not offering
catering, but do have a list of
folks who can do a great job!
Pricing will depend upon what you
would like. That could range
from simple snacks to scrumptious
decadent desserts to complete
sit-down meals. It could be a
country barbeque or a full
course gourmet meal featuring award
winning goat cheeses! See our
resources
page for some suggested
caterers.
We
will provide the dinnerware (plates,
glasses, utensils) for $2.00
per person. We think the use of
"real" plates and glasses is
actually practical and
environmentally preferable (and easier for
guests in general), but if you want
a "picnic style" with
disposable paper products
(and plastic tableware), we will
provide based on your
specific requests. We recommend
compostable and biodegradable
products and will soon have more
information about these products on
our site.
The primary dinnerware will be a
variety of white plates, clear drink
glasses and flatware. The
designs will vary, but give a pretty
uniform look. If you
prefer a standard uniform look
instead of our eclectic and more
casual collection, we can provide
commercial rental setups.

Garden Areas |

When our garden area is not part of
the event use, it is roped off and
not available for visitors.
Some events do not require use of
the garden facilities, so we offer
you the option and price this
separately This price
includes tables (and linens) and
seating areas, garden pavilion,
fountains, and walking tour areas
throughout the gardens and orchard.
The garden area can also be used
nicely for ceremonies. When
the gardens are used along with the
Events Barn, guests can move around
between the two locations and choose
seating areas. It also allows
for larger groups to have plenty of
space and protection from the
weather if needed.
At night time, the magic begins!
With candles in the trees and all
around the garden, it is magical
indeed! It's the perfect
romantic touch that your guests will
remember for sure! |

Decorations |
Included with
Wedding Package |
At no additional charge, you may use
your choice of the variety of wall
hangings, candle
holders, lanterns and other
decorative items we have available.
We will have candles for these at
available at cost. We also
have a large number of "canning jar"
style candles that can be hung
throughout the trees in our orchard,
for a nice "country chic" effect.
You would provide the "manpower" for
the decorating, or we can do it for
you if you like (we will discuss
your needs for this and provide
pricing).
We also have a variety of other
items such as a antique copper
kettle that can be used for
ice/canned drinks, grapevine
wreaths, additional decorative
lights and much more. Most are
available at no charge, however may
require payment of replacement costs
if damaged or destroyed.
Our clients tell us that the use of
our decorations is an outstanding
bonus that truly helps offset the rental of the facilities!
We do have a growing variety of
collectibles from around the
world as well as antiques from our
community. Some are whimsical
and some are classic.
We are happy to have you
leave any of your
recyclable decorations with us (such as glass
or other reusable items)
for use by future guests!

We have several
styles of metal and wooden arches
available. We also have white
wire arches (fully lit with small
lights) and a metal portable arbor
(8x8) with a gold canopy.
Price includes setup at your desired
location in the gardens. |

Lighted structures can be used in areas where
electricity is available, or you can
decorate with fresh or silk flowers
and flowing fabrics.
We have 6 white wire arches, 3 wooden
arbors, and a portable
metal Victorian style Gazebo is
available. |

your parking attendant(s), or we
include them with the Wedding

Above is our
pasture field right behind the
Events Barn, facing the Blue Ridge
Mountains and the Shenandoah
National Park. It is an open area
that allows for setup of chairs to
accommodate large and small events,
whether very casual or more formal
settings are desired. We have
plastic white and green lawn chairs
that are included with the wedding
package. If you want another
type of chair, we can provide a
quote based on your needs. |

Payments |
|
We require a $100
deposit when contract is signed.
We will refund all but the first
$50.00 if event is cancelled at
least three months in advance.
If cancellation is made after that
time, we will determine refund on a
case-by-case basis, depending upon
expenses incurred.
We recommend that tentative
reservations be made as much in
advance as possible. preferably at
least six months. There is no charge
for tentative reservations.
This means your event will be placed
on our calendar tentatively.
Contracts need to be signed at least
4 months before event (in some cases
we may be able to offer services
with less lead time). We want
to avoid scheduling any other event
the day before or the day after
yours. We prefer to have at
least a week between events, which
will allow you time for decorating
and finishing last minute details.
The
balance of the estimated rental fees
is due 30 days prior to the event
date. Any
additions to the contract not yet
charged by that time will be billed
as soon as possible after that time.
A credit card on file is required
for these residual/incidental
expenses. |

OUR WEDDING
GIFT TO YOU! We will
provide a one year domain name
registration and one year of web
hosting at no charge (Value of $165.00) for each
event if desired! (You provide
the website development, or we can
assist you with finding a
webmaster).
Websites are great for providing
details about your events (such as
location, any changes, photos,
etc.). This also includes FREE
email for your domain name!
For example, if you would like a
wedding website such as "MarthaNDaryl.com",
you could also have free email for
any name you choose, such as
Info@AliciaAndHarrison.com.
The content and design of your website will reflect your choice and
creativity!
