We realized today that almost 5
months ago to the day, we were
married on your farm. It was
one of the most wonderful,
memorable, beautiful days of our
lives! Everything was more
perfect than I ever could have
hoped for. Even the last
minute details (my bouquet of
sunflowers you shared - leftover
from the day before; the flower tops
floating in water, also from the day
before; Bobs boutonničre from a
previous wedding) were PERFECT!
There is no detail I would have
changed, nothing I would have done
differently.
Bob and I actually joked around
saying we'd happily get married
every year if we could marry at the
farm!
We received the lovely Khimaira
ornament and although we only had a
baby tree, we still hung our goat
proudly, grateful for the luck in
finding Khimaira and the opportunity
to celebrate our love in front of
the those gorgeous Blue Mountains.

creating such a warm, welcoming and
special place on your farm for
weddings like ours. We will
remember you and the goats always!

when we were married at your
beautiful farm, but it feels like
time has just skimmed past us...We
are so happy with the way the
wedding went. It was such a
magnificent atmosphere; the weather
was perfect; the food was awesome;

friend who was there told her sister
about your farm, and she she

(loved those recycling reminders

where my best friend pledged her
life and heart to the love of her

weekend ... I ended up in Luray, VA
to celebrate with Martha and Daryl.
The above shot (see photo top of
page
here) is one that I
really like of Martha and Daryl.
Their wedding took place at the
Khimaira Farm in Luray. The farm
is just that, fifty seven acres of
pure rural goodness. Linda and Leith
converted one of their barns into an
event venue a couple years ago when
their daughter decided to get
married on the property. They’ve
done a wonderful job of making you
forget that you are actually down on
the farm, and could host anything
from a black tie affair to a hoe
down. The ceremony took place a few
yards from the barn in a cleared
pasture looking out at the mountains
in the distance. That mountain range
saved us quite a bit of trouble, as
it acted as a natural barrier
between us and the rain that was
trying pretty hard to make it to the
farm".

Khimaira Farm is a beautiful
organic goat farm in Luray, VA. The

We were also excited that we had
such an incredible couple to
photograph that day. Matt & Jessie
incorporated so many green ideas
into their wedding, and definitely
left a huge impression on us. Not
only that, but they are SO kind and
giving of themselves. They get that
from their parents, who were such a
big part of their ceremony. I
seriously could not stop crying… it
was so touching & emotional…
definitely THE hands-down best
ceremony I’ve ever photographed.

Beautiful Locale for Weddings &
Ceremonies: It is not often that
we write a special entry to promote
a business or person, but sometimes,
something comes along that requires
mentioning. When a couple is
confronted with all the planning and
execution of the dream wedding, we
know this can take its toll.
So when something comes across my
path as a wedding minister, which is
exceptional, I like to pass it on to
my friends. I know most of you are
married already, but may there will
be a friend, family member or vow
renewal in your future in need of a
locale. The place I'm speaking
